Hello! My name is Samuel Silvester and I'm currently studying Computer Science at Cambridge university. I realised when trying to find various things I'd done that they were scattered all over the internet, so I created this site in order to keep things organised, both for me and for anyone else who gets sent this URL.
I first started programming when I was about 13 on ROBLOX, and since then I've created projects in C++, Lua, and Python, such as:
Many Ludum Dare games.
A puzzle game, Immortui, which I developed and published when I was 14 - 15 and sold for £2 on the (now bankrupt) indie gaming site Desura. I was the subject of an article on the popular gaming site Eurogamer.net, detailing my experiences developing the game. I wrote a postmortem on r/gamedev.
A sandbox/game creator environment for beginners to develop their own game in Python. I created a level editor and bindings for Python in C++ that allows programmers of all ability to create basic games by writing their Python code, similar (although much less fully featured!) to Gamemaker or Roblox. You can find the Python bindings and level editor on my github page. (note: these pages are out of date. This will be remedied!)
